Gold/Silver Ratio

Published: Wed, 03/02/16

I recently wrote a note about the Gold/Silver ratio in light of the recent trends in the precious metals.
Most know I made a Bull market call for Gold the day it rebounded from the 1045$ low. However many
people ask me about Silver and Silver often lags the previous metals market except later it will play
catch up in a short period of time. So recently Silver prices were falling and Gold was consolidating
and that pushed the Gold/Silver ratio to a new high, and to a level last seen in 2008 and 2003. So this
makes Silver relatively oversold in relation to Gold and both those previous occasions were associated
with major lows in the Precious metals market. I have recently put out a note on Silver the targets
wave counts etc under the Gold and Silver section of the website. Below is a chart of the Gold Silver
ratio from 1997.
